The Chalet is located in the rural Alpine village of Le Buet nestled at the foot of Le Col des Montets between Argentiere, Le Tour and Vallorcine and twenty minutes from Chamonix. The chalet is a conversion and extension of a platform shed where the oil lamps used to be prepared for the trains in the golden era of steam. Today the little electric train links all the main ski areas of the valley: Chamonix, Argentiere, Le Tours, Le Buet and Vallorcine. Perfect for two couples or a family with up to five children, the chalet has two bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan living room with sitting, dining and kitchen areas within it. The skiing in the Chamonix Valley is outstanding and the Vallorcine ski school (ESF) is a short walk from the chalet. The summer activities are equally sublime: gentle walks to extreme hikes, climbing, mountain biking, parascending and gliding, canyoning, golf, swimming, tennis or for the not so active amazing plant and wildlife with a sprinkling of fine eateries and bars.

The chalet has just been refurbished, with an exquisite and stylish interior designed by Christine Boswell.
